Peace March & Family Festival May 21st

The Long Island Peace March & Family Festival will be Saturday, May 21st at 10:00a.m. The march will begin at the HALI (Hands Across Long Island) office at 159 Brightside Avenue, Central Islip and will end at Timberline Park in Brentwood. Brentwood teens volunteer to make "Kid Kits" with the American Red Cross



On April 29, 2011 Brentwood Public Library partnered with the American Red
Cross to prepare "Kid Kits" for children whose families have been displaced due to an emergency.Over 15 Brentwood teens assembled over 75
"Kid Kits" while earning community service credit.

Brentwood Clean Streets Project

Northeast Neighborhood Watch Garden



The Northeast Neighborhood Watch garden located at Fulton Street between
Commercial Boulevard and Ridgewood Avenue. The group also has a garden
located at the corner of Commercial Boulevard and Lexington Avenue. Young
Northeast Neighborhood Watch gardeners will be participating in the
Brentwood Public Library¹s Grow It! programs which are made possible through
the support of National Grid Foundation.
