Adopt-a-thon and Micro-chip Fundraiser

The Islip Animal Shelter and Adopt-a-Pet Center is hosting an Adopt-a-thon on August 9th from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This event is sponsored by Live.Love.Bark Dog Rescue Inc. There will be over 100 animals for adoption, a doggie run way show, vendors, raffles, and more! The shelter will also be offering micro-chipping for a $25.00 fee. 2014 Hispanic Heritage Celebration Award Nominations Due

The Town of Islip is currently accepting nominations for its annual Celebration of Hispanic Heritage. The ceremony will be held on September 23rd and honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the Islip community through their professional or volunteer activity.
