Rabies Vaccination Clinic

Please leash all dogs and if aggressive, muzzled. Cats must be in carriers. A $10.00 donation would be appreciated, but is not required. Annual Dog Wash

The Islip Animal Shelter and Adopt-a-Pet Center will be hosting its annual Dog Wash Fundraiser on Saturday, June 27th from 11 am to 3 pm. Come down to the shelter at 210 South Denver Ave. in Bay Shore with your dogs! For a $10 donation, we will shampoo, rinse and towel dry your dog. Event will also have local vendors, food vendors, a photo booth, basket and 50/50 raffles, and more! This event is sponsored by Live.Love.Bark Dog Rescue Inc. The Town of Islip will hold its annual Shredding Day on Saturday, June 20th from 9 am to 1 pm at the Multi-Purpose Recycling Facility at 1155 Lincoln Ave. in Holbrook. Community Youth Expo

On Monday, May 25,2015, The American Legion Joseph Loeffler Post#1006 will host the 147th Annual Memorial Day ceremonies in Brentwood. The ceremonies will begin with services at 9:30am at the cemetery in on Madison Avenue and Jackson Street, Brentwood, followed by a parade through the hamlet of Brentwood, terminating at about 11:00am at Ross Memorial Park on Brentwood Road, where services will also take place.

The Town of Islip is honored to be hosting their Annual Black History Month Celebration on February 10th at the Town Board Meeting to take place at 7:00 pm in the Town Board Room in the main Town Hall building, 655 Main Street in Islip. All are welcome to celebrate those being honored.

KIC Card Collection

KIC will be implementing their CARD program (Card Accumulation Recycling Donation) from now until February 28th. Donate your used all-occasion cards. They will be used to make new 'green' cards by St. Jude's Ranch for Children to support their programs and services. You can drop your cards off at the KIC office at 660 Main Street in Islip.
