The Town of Islip's Annual S.T.O.P. (Stop Throwing Out Pollutants) Day is on September 21st at the Multi-Purpose Recycling Facility at 1155 Lincoln Avenue in Holbrook. An assortment of pollutants will be accepted. Items not accepted include: Ammunition, Explosives, Flares, Fireworks, Fire Extinguishers, Medicines, Radioactive Materials, Syringes or needles, and Pharmaceuticals.
