Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew 25 Tonight

Tonight is the official start date of the Venture Crew 25! They will be meeting at the Freshman Center on Thursday nights at 6:30 and it is open to boys and girls age 14-20. It is part of the Boy Scouts of America and is designed to teach leadership and other useful skills.

    There are many different directions it can take and will focus on the youth's interest and right now potography and cooking seem to be popular themes.

    We had a great turn out and are very excted about this new program for teens. Our next meeting is March 10th at 6:30 at the Brentwood Freshman Center and we encourage anyone that wants to visit us to see what it is all about.

    We're off to a great start! The crew has fun and exciting activities planned such as photography, cooking, horseback riding, and all sorts of water sports like scuba diving, kayaking,and white water rafting. We will be electing our Officers at our next meeting, and creating our Crew banner for the Brentwood St. Patrick's Day Parade which is on March 19th.
