Veteran's Stand Down Friday, April 29, 2011 at Suffolk Community College's Brentwood Campus from 10 a.m. to 2p.m. Over 150 volunteers will help guide veterans to programs and services associated with housing, employment, food, finances, and clothing.
Afterwards from 3:00-5:00 p.m.at the Brentwood Public Library
The American Red Cross and Suffolk County Youth Advisory Team is
preparing “Kid Kits” for children whose families have been displaced due to
an emergency. Come to the library and help us put these kits together. You
will be helping children while earning community service credit.
