Town of Islip Councilpersons Steve Flotteron and Trish Bergin Weichbrodt remind residents that compost material is available free to the public at several Town parks this Spring through the month of May. In addition to obtaining free compost supplies at the Town’s Compost Facility at 1101 Railroad Avenue in Ronkonkoma, additional satellite locations have been added for convenience which include the parking lots at Byron Lake Park in Oakdale, Roberto Clemente Park in Brentwood and Casamento Park in West Islip.
