The MacArthur Composting Facility, located at 1101 Railroad Avenue in Ronkonkoma, is now open on Saturdays, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., to both Islip Town residents and landscapers, in addition to its weekday hours of 7:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. The compost facility will keep these weekend hours through the fall.
