Brentwood 46th Puerto Rican Hispanic Day Parade

The parade is in its 46th year and is the largest ethnic parade on Long Island. The parade is held every June, with 70 to 80 local groups marching down Fifth Avenue for the 2 1/2 hour parade. The parade will take place this year on Sunday, July 22. Assemblyman Ramos announced that the theme of this year’s parade is to honor local hispanic community pioneers, including the Adelante Association which has been providing services to Suffolk County residents since 1966.
